The Highland Wildlife Park was opened in 1972 and is run by the
Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Featuring many areas for tourists
including in different habitats including moorland and wetland.
Attractions to view include Eagle Owl, Polecats, Lynx and the endangered
capercaillie.
Ruthven Barracks - Undiscovered

The first recorded castle to be built here appeared in 1229. Ruthven
Barracks is early 18th century fortress, deep in the Grampian Mountains.
It is possible to visit any time without appointment.
